We went to the Arizona-New Mexico Moose Convention at the end of August.
While there we talked to other lodge officers and picked up some information that would apply to our lodge as far as officers training and reducing our liability insurance, among other things. Also, we went to Ted Kosnik’s fellowship conferral ceremony-congratulations Ted.
I want to thank Diane Ham, John Brown, RaMona, Dana and Missy Smith for making our 1st annual Labor Day chicken drop and chili cook off a great success. Everyone had a great time.
Reminder-we are not just a corner bar. As you enter our lodge there is a picture and a thank you note from 7 young boys, ages 7 to 9, they are staying in the Arizona-New Mexico house at Mooseheart.
Through our contributions to the Endowment Fund all their needs will be met through high school. If you wish to follow their progress through school you can follow them on their face book page-Arizona New Mexico Home. They will have regular updates. We are their extended family.
One more note-our bartenders will be treated with respect. If not it will be dealt with accordingly by the House Committee.
It is our responsibility to our members to maintain order in the lodge.
